7/9 – 7/12: Mission Britton

Our 7th-12th grade students will be serving within our congregation and within our community July 8-11. We are calling the week Mission Britton. If you are in need of help around your house or yard, our students will be setting aside that Monday morning, July 8, to help you out in any way they can. Please contact Travis or Piper Frost if you would like our students to stop by your home!

During Mission Britton, our students will also be kicking off a new ministry to the homeless in our area. We will be putting together “care boxes” of essentials to deliver to those that are homeless. If you would like to donate some money to help get this ministry started, please see Travis or Piper Frost. Soon, these care boxes will be able to be purchased by members at Britton Road for around $5-$10 to give to the homeless as you drive around town. The students will be beginning this ministry on July 9.

Our students will also be putting together hygiene bags for Positive Tomorrows (the school for homeless children) in OKC. If you would like to donate some money to go toward the purchasing of those bathroom and hygiene items, please see Travis or Piper Frost. The students will be assembling those bags on Wednesday, July 10.

During Mission Britton, on Thursday, July 11, all young families with children are invited to a morning at the Oklahoma Science Museum from 9AM-12PM. (If you cannot stay this long, that is okay!) If you would like to be a part of this, please contract Travis or Piper Frost.
