What a Year to Remember!
Greetings in the Lord ! We want to thank all you who have supported us in the year 2017. We rejoice in what God has done through us during the past year. We were very happy on December 17 as seven elders were ordained at the Delmas 18 Church of Christ in Port of Prince.
SEVEN ELDERS ORDAINED
36 STUDENTS GRADUATE AFTER 4 YEARS AT PREACHER TRAINING SCHOOL IN PORT OF PRINCE
The Minister of Religion and other dignities were among about 600 people present at the Hotel Petion, Port of Prince, December 17, to recognize 36 students who received their Bachelors degrees in Biblical Studies after four years of study. This is the first Biblical School affiliated with the Churches of Christ to be recognized by the Ministry of Religion in Haiti. With these graduates there are new doors of opportunities to expand the gospel into new territories in Haiti. Also, new students are now be selected to attend the next Biblical School, 2018-22.
DYNAMIC MEDIA MINSTRY CONTINUES
We are blessed to have two television and two radio programs being broadcast each week in Port of Prince. These broadcasts bring in new inquiries daily about the Biblical material being presented and several have been converted to Christ through these programs.
THE CHAMBELLAN CHURCH OF CHIRST BUILT MUCH LARGER
The Delmas 28 church led the way for numerous Christians throughout the world to contribute to rebuild churches in the southern peninsula of Haiti after the Hurricane Matthew disaster in the summer of 2017. The Chabellan Church of Christ which was begun by one of the members of the Delmas congregation several years earlier was especially blessed to have a larger church building built through funds from U. S. and sacrificial efforts from Delmas church members. The building was opened in June with more than a thousand people attending and nine people being baptized. The church also witnessed seven weddings.
GOSPEL MEETINGS CONTINUE TO REAP A HARVEST OF SOULS
During the summer months a number of gospel meetings were conducted in the central part of Haiti and numerous conversions resulted from the preaching of the Gospel.
Thank you again for all the support you have given me and the work of the Lord in Haiti.
In Christian love,
