Haiti Year End Report – Jeantyrard Elmera

Report of Jeantyrard Elmera

                                                                           End of Year—2015

God has richly blessed us this year in spite of political protests that occurred during this election year in Haiti.  316 people have been baptized in communities in and around Saint Michel in central Haiti.  We had 81 people who were converted from a Baptist church in the area. Through gospel preaching, Mao Santiego, a former Pentecostal church was changed into a Church of Christ. We also had numerous baptisms at Delmas 28 in Port of Prince, Ennery, Chambellan, Vererettes, Archaie, and several other mission points.  We thank God for these precious souls that He has added to His church.

We continue to spread the gospel on two television channels four times a week as well as on radio twice a week.  We also have a presence on the Internet. More than 400 students are not taking our Bible correspondence courses.

Our School of Preaching at Delmas 28 continues to be a source of joy.  We expect the 20 students now enrolled to continue into our third year of training.

In 2016 we will celebrate our 30 years of ministry at Delmas 28. We plan to conduct a week-long Preacher’s Training program and Gospel Meeting in March. We are expecting more than 100 preachers from throughout Haiti to attend. We are in need of funds to bring these preachers in and feed them during this week. We plan to conduct Gospel meetings throughout Haiti during the spring and summer months.

Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support knowing that our labors are not in vain in the Lord. (I Cor. 15:58).
